About the role
As part of our Business Intelligence team, the Business Intelligence Lead Developer will work in a multi-disciplinary team, playing a lead role in developing Business Intelligence products and dashboards to both support the response to the COVID- 19 Pandemic as well as products to support care domains in the longer run.

As part of the role you will be responsible for:

  • Building on the rapid progress of the last few months, this role will be part of a recently formed Business Intelligence team to leading our dashboard development team.
  • Responding to a range of customers requirements, you will prioritise tasks daily, ensuring the appropriate techniques are used to design, develop, and maintain dashboards.

About you

We want you to be set for success, these are some of the key skills and experience that you'll bring to the role:

  • Advanced specialist knowledge of analytical and requirements gathering skills.

  • Expert in the appropriate visualisation of complex Health and Social Care Data with easy to interpret clear messages.

  • Evidence of active engagement with stakeholders and negotiation skills and commitment to meeting stakeholder expectations.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to choose content and style to suit the audience, including large groups.

  • Experience of working in and leading a multidisciplinary team using agile methodologies and develop technical staff.

  • Proven ability to design new data products and analytical outputs that meet the needs of customers.

  • Skills from one or more of the following specialisms: 

      • Data Science 
      • Business Intelligence 
      • Statistics and Model Management 
      • Service Performance and Customer Focus 
      • Linkage, Location, Data Quality, and New Data
