This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of NHS digital health services. Junior designers are needed to discover, define, develop and deliver essential services for both health professionals and the public.
As a trusted member of the NHS Digital design capability you will work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams which deliver large scale design systems and digital services. The services you work on could give patients and citizens more control over their health and wellbeing, empower carers, and reduce the administrative burden for care professionals.
At NHS Digital, our designers have a range of specialisms, including service design, interaction design and graphic design, or often a combination of these. For this role, we are interested to hear from candidates with a degree in a relevant subject and/or some relevant work experience doing user-centred design.
All of our junior designers:
• Explain design decisions, work collaboratively and have responsibility as part of a product/service.
• Work independently after being given direction by more senior designers, and can independently identify user issues and key needs.
