About you…               

We seek to recruit Clinical Informatics Fellows who wish to gain real-world experience and expertise in clinical informatics and bring their social care view to bear at a national level for a one year secondment period.

Applications are open to individuals at AfC Band 6-7 (or salary equivalent of £26,565 to £41,787).

You will :-

  • Be currently employed in a health or social care setting

  • Have a real interest in the potential and value of clinical informatics

  • Have good communication skills in order to explain and justify a point of view objectively to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

  • An appreciation and insight of the role of and drivers for informatics in NHS and social care

  • Understand the basic principles of clinical governance (NHS staff), information governance, service user/patient safety, human factors, and quality improvement initiatives

  • Knowledge of evidence-based approach to care
