Information Analyst Lead Manager

Would you like to shape analysis and produce statistics for the benefit of the health and care industry?

We are looking for very experienced statistical analysts to lead teams working on health and care statistics. The teams will explore, analyse and investigate data, producing statistics that will help to improve the health and social care service.

We recruit to a central professional group so there will be a range of different areas which successful candidates could work on throughout their career. We have immediate vacancies at this level in the Mental Health and Prescribing teams, but other areas may become available during the recruitment process.

For permanent appointments through time you will bring your analytical skills to bear on a variety of high profile areas, being placed in an initial assignment (typically 3-5 years) and will then move to a different analytical area within the organisation to further develop your skills and knowledge

Senior Developer (C#, .NET Frameworks 4.5+, ASP.Net (MVC) / Web API, SQL Server, Entity Framework)

You will be involved working alongside a team of agile developers to support and maintain a large portfolio of systems. You will be responsible for the on-going development of systems according to a prioritised backlog of activity driven by customer requirements, in addition to timely and effective defect resolution on the live systems. These systems are high profile and of national importance; a good example of which is the Cancer Waiting times (CWT) system, a large, complex component event sourcing based system developed in C# and using other technology such as EventStore, RabbitMQ, Angular, SQL, SSIS, SSAS.
