An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a full-time Housekeeping Team Leader to join our Ramsay New Hall Hospital.

This position will be leading the delivery of housekeeping services for the hospital, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer care.

Operational Responsibilities: 

  • Be directly responsible for ensuring that the standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout each shift in patient areas.
  • Follow the hospital/company protocol to request additional cleaning, urgently for spills, discharge cleaning, incidence of infections and for routinely requesting additional cleaning where standards are persistently below expectation
  • Provide sufficient staff to ensure that all areas are cleaned and frequencies adhered to as agreed with the Infection Control Committee on behalf of the company/hospital.
  • Monitor cleaning techniques and standards achieved.
  • Increase cleaning frequencies in areas that consistently fall below expectations.
  • Provide and facilitate training for housekeeping staff.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Hospital or hotel experience at supervisory level
  • City & Guilds / NVQ in hotel management
