Winfield Hospital is an independent hospital, delivering personalised and professional services to a range of patients across multiple clinical specialities. The radiology service is absolutely key to our ability to deliver a range of support, diagnostic and therapeutic services and is seeking to grow its business and strengthen its team.

We currently provide a range of imaging services including general X-Ray, ultrasound, theatres, interventional procedures, and mobile CT & MRI.  

We are looking to expand our team by adding to our team of radiographers.  The role offered is 37.5hrs per week, with an emphasis on the need to be flexible in order to cover demand.  At times this will include 7am starts, late finishing past 5pm and weekends when required plus a share of the on-call rota. Duties include regular participation in QA and Audit activities and database administration.  You will have key relationships with all the departments within the hospital and will be interacting with Consultants on a daily basis and so excellent organisational and communication skills are essential.

You must have a Diploma from the College of Radiographers or hold a BSc in Diagnostic Imaging, be registered with the HCPC and have undertaken or be willing to undertake the ILS course.

This role is based at Winfield Hospital, which is a leading private hospital on the outskirts of Gloucester. We have three fully equipped, laminar flow theatres, with a six-bedded recovery, a dedicated and JAG accredited endoscopy unit, and twelve outpatient consulting rooms with associated examination and treatment facilities.  Other outpatient facilities include physiotherapy, pharmacy, audiology, radiology, ultrasound, MRI and CT.
