You will be working alongside our Housekeeping team members to ensure the high standards of cleanliness are maintained across the allocated areas within the Hospital, whilst supporting and cooperating with other housekeepers and wider team members across various departments.
The housekeeping duties:
Maintaining the required standards of cleanliness by following correct policies, procedures and frequencies. Undertaking a variety of cleaning duties in line with the appropriate cleaning schedules (may include operating specialist cleaning equipment - training will be provided). Carrying out specialist cleaning and one off cleaning duties in line with the Supervisors requirements. Ensuring that there is a general, pleasant and well maintained environment for patients & visitors.
This is a challenging but rewarding role and would be ideally suited to a motivated team player. Previous experience in a Housekeeping role is preferable and knowledge of COSHH and infection control is also desirable but for the right person with no or little experience the training will be provided.
