The role
You will be expected to deliver the highest quality of planned care for patients. The successful candidate will be supporting the theatre manager both clinically and managerially. 

Duties of this role include

•    Deliver safe quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care
•    To lead and manage the team, coordinating staff training needs and resource requirements
•    To perform responsibilities as part of the senior theatre team, acting collaboratively for the combined needs of the department
•    Achieve agreed objectives and demonstrate Ramsay values at all time
•    Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act
•    Develop a strategy for the Orthopaedic and Spinal service

What you’ll bring with you

•    NMC/HCPC registration - your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions
•    Have strong managerial and leadership skills
•    In-depth knowledge and proven advanced perioperative practitioner experience 
•    Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations
•    Orthopaedic and Spinal scrub experience (minimum 3 years)
•    Previous experiencing managing and leading a clinical team
•    Be forward thinking, enthusiastic, and highly motivated.
•    Have experience and the confidence of analysing and resolving staff and clinical issues within the remit of this role
•    ALS/EPALS certificate desirable
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
•    Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
•    Valid Intermediate Life Support training
