(BANK) HOUSEKEEPER - Fulwood Hall Hospital, Preston, Lancashire.
This is a BANK contract, with work arranged on a casual basis, as and when required to cover staff sickness, annual leave and peak times, work is not guaranteed to be available on a regular basis.
An opportunity has arisen for Bank Housekeepers to join our Hotel Services Team to provide general housekeeping services to all departments within Fulwood Hall Hospital, covering busy periods and staff absence. You will need to be flexible and happy to undertake early morning, evening and weekend work as required.
We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated team players to provide a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness throughout the hospital, as part of the support services team.
Applicants should be flexible in their approach to work and prepared for early starts from 5am - therefore own transport would be beneficial.
Previous experience of housekeeping in a healthcare environment would be preferred but full training will be provided.
Applicants would be responsible for ensuring that standards of cleanliness are maintained and be able to follow hospital/company protocols as well as react to requests of additional cleaning, where required, to ensure that frequencies and standards are met in line with Infection Control, Health and Safety and COSHH.
Applicants must have sound interpersonal and communication skills and be able to lift and carry in accordance with Manual Handling techniques and Health & Safety regulations.
