The Pharmacy department is looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a bank basis.

We cover a wide range of specialities including Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynaecology, General surgery and Cosmetics. We also provide an oncology service to private patients, with on-site aseptic preparation of Chemotherapy.

You should be able to provide an efficient and flexible service for both inpatients and outpatients and provide support for members of the pharmacy and hospital teams.

You should be a registered Pharmacy Technician and have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a hospital or community pharmacy and have effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Previous private Hospital experience and experience of Aseptics would be an advantage.

Applicants should be caring, have a great attention to detail and enjoy managing their own workload:

All applicants must have:
• NVQ3, BTEC in Pharmaceutical Services or equivalent.
• Sound written & verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated customer service skills

All applicants should desirably have:
• Experience of working in a hospital environment
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
