An exciting opportunity has arisen for Scrub Practitioners. The hospital provides a wide range of services; Surgery, Medicine, Oncology, Plastic and Cosmetic surgery, and Paediatrics.   Specialties at the hospital include; orthopaedic surgery, ophthalmology, endoscopy, urology, spinal surgery, pain management, ENT, dental, general, vascular, gynaecology, podiatry, oncology, breast and laparoscopic surgery.

 

As a Scrub Practitioner you will support in the management & organisation of care provision within the operating department, responsible for the delivery of the highest standards of care & services.

 

The successful applicant will have proven and sound experience of perioperative practice and must have:

 

  • NMC/HCPC registration - your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions
  • A minimum of 3 months, post registration experience as a Scrub Practitioner
  • Experience in paediatrics desirable
  • ALS/EPALS certificate desirable.

The Hospital has a new Oncology Centre, which has expanded the range of services we offer to include Radiotherapy as well as relocating our existing Chemotherapy services to a brand new purpose built facility.  We have recently completed and extensive refurbishment project which included 2 new theatres.
