Weekend / Saturday Physiotherapist BANK
Ashtead Hospital

Job reference: 00301

Location: Ashtead Hospital

Closing date: 30/04/2019

Salary: Negotiable

Employment type: Bank

Hours per week: 0

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a specialist Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to assist us in our busy Physiotherapy Outpatients department one or two weekday evenings. This is a bank position that would ideally suit someone who lives locally and is keen to work around their domestic arrangements or current employment.

As this is a bank position, hours cannot be guaranteed every week. Rate of pay is subject to negotiation and depending on experience.

We receive referrals from GPs and Consultants as well as self-referrals. These provide a stimulating case mix with a bias towards acute musculoskeletal injuries and postoperative orthopaedic rehabilitation.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with proven skills in the management of musculoskeletal disorders and with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can work alone and as part of the team. In return we offer a very friendly working environment where you will be supported by the Physiotherapy Manager and the Clinical Lead for Outpatients.

Bank Hours:   Work is offered on a casual basis, as and when required. Work is not guaranteed to be available on a regular basis. This role would therefore suit someone living within a reasonable distance from Ashtead who is keen to work around their domestic arrangements or existing employment.

Shifts:   Two x evenings or 1 evening and 1 x Saturday Morning
Rate of pay: Subject to experience

For more information or to arrange an informal visit to the department, please contact Fiona Rushmer (Physiotherapy Manager) on 01372 221402 or email: fiona.rushmer@ramsayhealth.co.uk
