An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and pro-active pharmacy technician to join our team at Oaks Hospital.
Ramsay Healthcare UK is a high quality provider of acute private healthcare across the UK. We have a highly specialised team of dedicated staff who work within this multi- speciality setting.
Oaks Hospital is a 57 bedded hospital with four operating theatres, an ambulatory unit for day cases, a physiotherapy department, modern diagnostic equipment including MRI and CT and private GP services. The hospital is currently undergoing a major expansion to include a new static MRI unit and our 5th operating theatre. There is currently no dispensary on site and you will be supported by a full time pharmacist.
You will be required to provide an efficient, professional and flexible service to both inpatients and outpatients. Duties will include stock control, procurement, dispensing, patient counselling and other associated pharmacy technician duties. Full training will be provided for local computer systems.
We require you to have clear and confident communication skills, be patient focused and have at least 1 year post registration hospital pharmacy experience. This post is for a bank position (zero hour contract) where you will be called to cover annual leave and sickness as and when required. Enthusiasm and flexibility are essential.
You must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a pharmacy technician to be eligible to apply for this post.
