These are exciting times as we look to recruit a Theatre Practitioner to work within our busy Operating Theatres.


Fulwood Hall Hospital has 3 theatres and an Endoscopy unit covering a wide range of surgical specialties including General Surgery, Vascular, Urology, Gynecology, Ophthalmic, Orthopedics, Dental, ENT and Cosmetic Surgery.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is patient focused and strives to deliver high quality and safe patient care.  You should be committed to working effectively within multi-professional teams and have excellent communication skills.  A desire to join a team to develop and implement innovative practice within the theatre complex is essential.

We are a friendly and welcoming unit who will support you in your new role by providing a comprehensive induction package.  You will have the opportunity to work in all of the specialties supported by senior staff.


Ramsay is committed to the education and development of staff with fully paid access to a variety of courses.


Candidates must be ODP/RGN qualified or hold the AP qualification at Level 5. They will ideally be experienced in all aspects of Theatres, however Anaesthetics/Recovery or Scrub experience will be considered. Practitioners will receive excellent training and development, with Scrub Practitioners being prepared to undertake further training to provide Surgical First Assistance and Anaesthetic/Recovery Practitioners being prepared to receive ALS training.


The need to be flexible with your hours is essential.  The shift patterns include late shifts, weekend and on-call commitment.
