Physiotherapist - Bank

Ashtead Hospital

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a specialist Physiotherapist to assist us in treating in-patients and day case patients at the weekends. This is a bank position that would ideally suit someone who lives locally and is keen to work around their domestic arrangements or current employment.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with proven skills in the management of orthopaedic and surgical/medical patients, and with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can work alone and as part of the multidisciplinary team. In return we offer a friendly working environment where you will be supported by the Physiotherapy Manager and the Lead for Inpatients.

The purpose of this role is to provide the highest quality of physiotherapy services to patients following orthopaedic and other surgery. This will include fitting slings and braces, mobilising patients, teaching exercises and assessing if the patient is ready for discharge.

Bank Hours: Work is offered on a casual basis, as and when required. Work is not guaranteed to be available on a regular basis. This role would therefore suit someone living within a reasonable distance from Ashtead who is keen to work around their domestic arrangements or existing employment.
