Right now we have an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Sister to join our Theatre team at The Cherwell Hospital in Banbury.
It's an exciting time at The Cherwell Hospital - we are currently looking to recruit professional, enthusiastic and experienced theatre team members to expand our team.
In order to staff our busy theatres, we require a Recovery Sister to help to assist the Theatre Manager with the day to day running of the department

Our Theatre Department will be extremely busy, working with Consultants from a wide range of clinical disciplines, including orthopaedics and cosmetics. You must be registered in the UK with your professional body and able to demonstrate current Theatre experience with the ability to work under pressure.

- Registered with the NMC/HCPC
- Post registration experience of working in Recovery
- High standards of clinical competence
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible and motivated
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- ALS trained is desirable

The Cherwell Hospital, located in Banbury, Oxfordshire was purpose built in 2006 and has been designed to combine an exceptional standard of patient accommodation with the technical equipment and facilities that modern medicine demands.
The Hospital has a 40-bed inpatient unit, consisting of single or twin rooms and a day case facility. All rooms which have twin beds are single sex units ensuring privacy and dignity at all times. The Hospital is equipped to undertake a large range of procedures, treatments and investigations.
We have three fully equipped, lamina flow theatres, with a five-bedded recovery unit. Other outpatient facilities include physiotherapy, pharmacy, radiology, ultrasound and MRI.
